2. How does your media product represent particular social groups?

My media work reflects those from NME,Q,VIBE and rolling stones, i have tried to make my models the same sort of style as the artsts from the genre of rnb/pop I Researched pop/rnb artists and looked at their style.. I really like the bold hair colours i think it really makes the artist appear unique, expressive with plenty of individuality. So i took inspiration from current artists and photo-shopped my models hair to make it iconic and vibrant. Artists Niki Minaj, Jessie J, Rihanna.
My model. My Artist " Marina" is a young adult who belongs to the pop/rnb culture, and as a role model for all her audience she reflects the partcukar group of all young adults aged from 16-25 who admire her, therefore she represents her audience of the group of people who are young, confident, unique, bold, and have a lust for life. She represents the social culture that is people who listen to and support rnb/pop music. My Magazine also is uni-sex, and represents that there is something for everyone, I have done this with non-feminine or male weighted language, there is an even proportion of male and female artsts featured n my magazines, which also support the musical genre.  I researched male artists to get some inspiration for my models and how they represent the social group of my genre.
